It was an extremely competitive race tonight at Auto Club for the Summit 200. The race was dominated by 3 cars, #11 Austin Reedy, #4 Kyle Benson, and of course #88 James Holtzer. Reedy dominated early, but a mistake caused him to have to pit earlier than the rest of the field on the last cycle of green flag pit stops. Kyle Benson was hot on his tail all night, as was Holtzer, as those three drivers combined to lead 93 of the 100 laps. Reedy cycled back out as the leader on the final run, but with fresher tires, James Holtzer was able to chase him down to get the W.
