What a race at Texas for the 4 Wide Truck Series tonight! After two early cautions, #92 Caden Henry-Oakes ran away from the field, with his Redline Racing teammate #98 Andrew Sidney right behind him. As the leaders were starting to cycle through green flag pit stops, a caution flag came out. This turned the lead over to #23 James Holtzer, who, despite efforts from #12 Jay Gimbel and #86 Tristen Bailey, began dominating the race. With about 30 laps to go, more strategy came into play as #8 Tyler Murray and #44 Chuck Meunier Sr. both stayed out under the caution. After the green dropped, a quick yellow came out, and an incident under yellow took the #8 and #79 Ryan Steenbakkers back down to pit road and basically out of the race. In the end, James Holtzer had it figured out when it mattered most, and goes on to capture his first victory of the new season.
